The Role & The Work
Join a Top 20 international firm with Scottish roots and an established global reach and become a key part of a highly regarded Corporate team in Glasgow. The practice is recognised at a high level in the L500 and acts on some of the most significant and complex transactions in the market.
You’ll work alongside leading Corporate Lawyers on high-value, cross-border and strategically important transactions, advising an impressive mix of domestic and international clients. The work is varied by design, giving you exposure across M&A, private equity, joint ventures, investments, reorganisations and wider corporate advisory matters.
What makes this particularly interesting is the combination of Scottish market knowledge with genuinely international deal capability. You’ll have the opportunity to work on matters that extend well beyond the Scottish market, while still benefiting from a close-knit and supportive Glasgow team. The team works across a broad range of sectors too, allowing you to develop a commercial understanding of the industries driving investment and growth.
At Associate level, you’ll be given meaningful responsibility by supporting senior lawyers on sophisticated transactions, building direct client relationships and taking ownership of your own workstreams, while benefiting from the support and development of some of the strongest Corporate lawyers in the market.

Your Experience
- Scots or English & Welsh Qualified Solicitor with 1-4 PQE
- Strong experience within a Corporate transactional practice
- Experience across M&A, private equity, investments, joint ventures or corporate reorganisations
- Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to provide practical, client-focused advice
- Confident working with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Ability to manage competing priorities and contribute effectively to complex transactions
- Ambitious, collaborative and keen to continue developing your Corporate career
