Salary: Generous Salary + Bonus + Excellent Benefits The Role & The Work A Top 50 UK law firm, widely regarded across both Scotland and the wider UK, is seeking an Employment Solicitor (NQ-4 PQE) to join its L500 ranked Employment team in Glasgow.
This is an opportunity to join a high-performing and forward-thinking practice that advises some of the UK's most recognisable employers, offering exposure to complex, high-quality work from the outset.
The team has built a strong reputation for delivering commercial, pragmatic employment advice, and continues to grow as demand from its national client base increases.
From day one, you will become part of a team that is not only handling technically engaging work, but also actively shaping how employment law services are delivered through innovative, client-focused solutions.
You will work across a broad mix of advisory and contentious matters, supporting clients on day-to-day HR issues while also gaining hands-on experience in tribunal litigation.
You will advise clients across a range of sectors, building an understanding of their businesses and becoming a trusted extension of their HR and leadership teams.
You will gain exposure to Employment Tribunal work, including drafting pleadings, preparing witness statements and bundles, and conducting advocacy where appropriate.
Alongside this, you will contribute to client training, legal updates and business development initiatives, helping to strengthen relationships and grow the team's presence in the market.
As your experience develops, you will be encouraged to take greater ownership of client relationships, refine your advocacy skills and play a more visible role in the team's continued success.
