The firm is seeking an exceptional employment lawyer to join its thriving Glasgow office as Legal Director. Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including tribunal litigation, senior exits, TUPE, restructures and complex disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Managing and developing relationships with existing clients whilst identifying opportunities to grow their own practice.
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members, helping them develop their technical skills and commercial awareness.
- Contributing to business development initiatives, thought leadership and sector-focused activities.
- Working collaboratively across the national network on multi-jurisdictional matters.
The Ideal Candidate
The firm is looking for someone who combines technical excellence with commercial acumen and genuine people skills. Specifically, candidates should have:
- 8+ years' PQE in employment law with experience gained at a reputable firm.
- A strong track record of managing their own caseload of complex employment matters.
- Demonstrable experience of building and maintaining client relationships.
