The Role
This is an opportunity to join a Corporate team at a defining moment in its evolution, with a strong and clearly visible pipeline of M&A and Private Equity work carrying momentum well into 2026 and beyond. Based in the Glasgow office, you’ll work side‑by‑side with Partners who are focused not just on closing the next deal, but on shaping the next generation of Corporate lawyers. In a smaller, ambitious practice, progression is driven by contribution and capability, not hierarchy, giving you the space to develop, be seen and carve out a long‑term future where your impact truly matters.
The Work
- Advising on a broad range of corporate matters, including M&A, private equity investments, restructurings and general corporate/commercial work
- Playing a visible role on high‑value, complex transactions, often referred from large international firms and leading professionals
- Managing deals and developing direct, trusted relationships with clients, investors and advisers
- Becoming increasingly involved in business development and strengthening your voice and presence in the Scottish Corporate market
- Taking ownership of matters and contributing to the long‑term strategic growth of the Corporate practice
Your Experience
- A Solicitor (NQ-4 PQE) with experience in and a passion for the Corporate space
- Experience in M&A and/or Private Equity transactions
- Confident in leading matters and speaking up in client discussions and negotiations
- Commercially minded with an interest in how the firm grows as a business
- Proactive, visible and keen to play an active role within a close‑knit team
