The firm has been established for 25 years. The vision that the founding partners launched the firm on was to work on good quality work for an excellent client base, and to love the work that they do, whilst ensuring there is a good work-life balance. This ethos still very much remains in the present day. The firm stands at 30 members of staff. The practice is well-run with a solid leadership team, and the firm is highly profitable. They have an open-plan office with a vibrant and friendly culture, there is very much a family feel running throughout the firm. You will find that everyone goes above and beyond to help each other, the level of collaboration is very evident, and as such there is an abundance of team spirit. There is also a nice social scene at the firm with regular events and nice touches which uplift everyone's spirit.
The firm has an excellent track record of mentoring, developing, and nurturing their legal talent, a good example of this is two members of the team that started as paralegals and have just been made up to Partner. An advantage of being at a firm of their size is they reward based on merit and they do not have the corporate red tape and bureaucracy of larger practices. The firm embraces modern working practices with hybrid working being standard practice. The firm has three distinct practice areas: Corporate, Litigation, and Property. A lot of the work that they do is intertwined throughout the departments. The firm has an excellent client base and continues to receive a large proportion of all its work from referrals. You will find that the firm has a refreshing approach in terms of the service they offer clients. Despite the firm's size, you will find it common to work on the other side of much larger practices.
The role: The firm is seeking a Family Senior Associate / Partner to join the firm’s vibrant office in the heart of the West End of London. You will deal with a high-quality caseload for the firm’s affluent client base. You will work as part of a close-knit, friendly family team. This will be a varied caseload making for an interesting role, the caseload will include, but not be limited to; a broad range of family matters which will include divorce and private children matters. You will work closely with the other partners to drive the departments forwards, you will be at the forefront of what is an exciting time at the firm. This role could prove to be a good stepping stone for a Senior Associate looking for a route to partnership.
Requirements: You will be a Family Solicitor with at least five years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience). Experience in business development is of advantage. You should have first-class client and communication skills. The firm is open-minded regarding the candidate's background.
