We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Lawyer or Senior Associate with 5+ years PQE in Employment law to join a top 60 London law firm’s award‑winning Employment team.

Role Overview – This 3‑day a week part‑time position, with 2 days required in office, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to knowledge management, training, and business development while gaining exposure to high‑quality work typical of larger City firms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a centralised precedent bank for core Employment and Partnership documents.
  • Track legal developments, produce engaging materials and manage the Employment Knowledge Hub (SharePoint).
  • Support fee earners with legal and matter‑management queries.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, consistency and risk mitigation through updated checklists and resources.
  • Chair monthly know‑how meetings, design and deliver training programmes.
  • Monitor legal tech developments and assess efficiency tools.
  • Support thought‑leadership and BD activities – articles, newsletters, client seminars.
  • Collaborate on firm‑wide knowledge and risk projects with Head of Knowledge, KDLs, Risk & Compliance.
  • Assist with Responsible Business initiatives and onboarding/recruitment activities.

Requirements

  • Knowledge Lawyer or 5+ PQE Solicitor (England & Wales qualified).
  • In‑depth experience in Employment law, preferably with contentious partnership matters.
  • Strong understanding of law firm business and commitment to high‑quality service.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and project‑management skills.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Flexibility regarding time and duties.
