The Role
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Employment Lawyer to step into a senior, strategic professional support role within an internationally recognised Employment team. You will help shape how the firm delivers knowledge, training and innovative legal products to both internal teams and major clients across the UK and internationally.
Working at the centre of the firm’s knowledge strategy, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders, lead high-value know-how initiatives and play a key role in preparing the practice for significant legislative change in the years ahead. This position offers real visibility, influence and the opportunity to drive innovation within a highly collaborative, well-resourced PSL community.
The Work
- Lead the delivery of high-quality know-how, guidance and training for lawyers and clients.
- Track, analyse and communicate key legal and commercial developments across the Employment landscape.
- Shape and implement innovative products, tools and knowledge resources to enhance client service.
- Partner with senior lawyers on strategic knowledge projects and practice development initiatives.
- Deliver strategic training programmes for internal teams.
- Produce thought leadership content, current awareness briefings and horizon-scanning insights.
- Build strong client relationships through training, policy support and advisory input.
- Oversee and develop precedents, guidance notes and digital knowledge system.
- Lead or contribute to responses to government consultations and policy developments.
- Champion new work streams, products and internal efficiencies across the practice.
Your Experience
- 6+ years PQE as an Employment Lawyer.
- Strong client-facing experience across a broad range of Employment matters.
- Excellent technical ability with a commercial, solutions-led approach.
- Highly strategic thinker, able to assess legal change and communicate impact clearly.
- Confident collaborating with senior stakeholders and contributing to firmwide initiatives.
- Strong communicator with excellent influencing and presentation skills.
- Organised, proactive and capable of owning large-scale knowledge projects.
- A genuine interest in innovation and the future of legal services.
- Passion for training and developing others.
