You will handle a diverse and exciting caseload, including complex matters like redundancies, settlement agreements, TUPE, tribunals, dismissals, and discrimination cases. The firm is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its highly successful and growing Employment Law department, based in the heart of Southampton. This department deals with a wide variety of work, including both claimant and respondent cases, and offers an increasing focus on corporate advisory.

As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
  • Advising on redundancies, settlement agreements, grievances, TUPE, employment tribunals, dismissals, and discrimination cases
  • Acting as an external HR function for a diverse range of companies, from SMEs to large national corporations

The Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 2 years PQE in Employment Law (candidates with more experience are encouraged to apply)
  • Strong expertise in the areas listed above
  • Good technical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
