Corporate Associate / Senior Associate – Street, Somerset
A well-established firm in Somerset is looking to appoint a Corporate Associate or Senior Associate to join its growing team in Street.
This is a role for a lawyer who enjoys the variety and pace of corporate work – advising owner‑managed businesses, SMEs, partnerships and entrepreneurs on everything from business sales and acquisitions to shareholder agreements, restructures, refinancing, and a broad range of commercial contracts.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across commercial property, employment and private client to deliver a joined‑up service to clients. There’s plenty of scope to take the lead on transactions and help shape ongoing client relationships, while being part of a supportive and well‑connected team. While some flexibility is offered, this role is primarily based in the Street office to support collaboration and client service.
You’ll be involved in:
- Handling share and asset sales and purchases
- Drafting shareholder, partnership and joint venture agreements
- Advising on company restructures, refinancing, and constitutional changes
- Drafting terms and conditions, agency and franchise agreements
- Supporting secured lending and company secretarial work
- Managing transactions from instruction to post‑completion
- Developing client relationships and contributing to team growth
