The Role

You’ll take the reins of the Sussex Contentious Trusts & Probate team, overseeing a small group of experienced lawyers while remaining hands-on on the highest-quality work. From will challenges and trust disputes to complex probate matters, your guidance will shape the team’s success and the firm’s presence across the South Coast. You’ll also mentor junior lawyers, manage client relationships, and play a visible role in the ongoing growth and reputation of the practice. Partnership is a real prospect for the right candidate.

About You

  • Senior Associate or Partner-level contentious private client lawyer
  • 8+ years PQE with strong trusts, probate, and estate litigation experience
  • Experienced in supervising and developing a small team
  • Commercially aware, personable, and confident with clients
  • Ready to take ownership and lead a practice within a respected Legal 500 firm
