The firm is seeking to hire a Construction Partner into their City office, close to Liverpool Street station, London. The Construction department is a fairly new department, it has just turned two years old and currently consists of a team of three, a Partner, solicitor and paralegal. The department deals with both contentious and non-contentious work, although it is currently much more weighted towards non-contentious work. This department works closely with the real estate department which is the largest department in the firm, they are currently exceptionally busy and as such this is having an overspill into construction, hence the need to hire a new partner into the department.

This could prove to be the perfect role for an experienced and ambitious senior associate seeking a springboard into a partnership role. The caseload will be varied and will include but not be limited to; Construction contracts and project agreements, planning, utilities and energy, project management and construction disputes. You should be an ambitious candidate that relishes in the challenge of being at the forefront of building and developing this construction department. You will be a Construction Solicitor with at least 7 years PQE + (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience). Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your background.
