The Real Estate Team

The team is comprised of individuals from diverse backgrounds, including major city practices, national firms, industry, local government, and specialists with construction, planning, and commercial expertise. This broad depth of experience allows the team to effectively collaborate on major, complex transactions, providing clients with value-driven, cost-effective solutions.

The real estate department covers both contentious and non-contentious matters and represents clients from various sectors, including public and private organisations, high-net-worth individuals, and senior executives. Their client base includes some of the most significant businesses and institutions in England and Wales.

The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Legal Director in Commercial Property to join the growing Bristol office as part of a highly regarded, Legal 500-ranked real estate team. The firm seeks a Legal Director with 6+ years PQE to support their expanding client base, which includes high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-quality caseload, including portfolio management, secured lending, landlord and tenant agreements, acquisitions and disposals, and corporate real estate matters. You will be part of a close-knit team that collaborates on both development and investment projects, gaining exposure to a broad range of legal issues.

Requirements

  • 6+ years PQE in commercial property law
  • Strong experience across a wide range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, secured lending, and landlord/tenant issues
  • Proven ability to manage a busy caseload and meet tight deadlines
  • Business development experience, with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships
  • A commercially focused, solution-oriented approach to legal matters
  • Experience working in a well-regarded city, regional, or national firm with a strong understanding of real estate law
