An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Employment Solicitor to join a highly ranked L500 law firm. The firm has recently seen an influx of work within its Band 1 ranked Employment Team. Providing specialist legal advice and representation to employers, HR teams, and in-house counsel on the full spectrum of UK employment law issues. With a focus on advising organisations manage people-related legal risks, resolve disputes effectively, and make informed strategic decisions about workforce matters.

The practice is led by a Chambers and Legal 500 recognised Partner with over 20 years’ experience, who has played a key role in shaping this highly regarded team. You will be joining a collaborative national group of more than 60 employment specialists across offices in England & Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, working together on a wide range of complex and strategic matters.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor with 5+ years PQE to join the growing Employment team in the firm’s London office. This role offers the chance to manage a diverse and high-quality caseload, working closely with Partners and other Senior team members. The work will span both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with a primary focus on representing respondents in employment tribunal claims.

You will be advising employers on a wide range of issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, restructurings, and redundancies. Additionally, supporting the firm's high-regarded clients with employment-related documentation, such as drafting consultancy agreements, settlement agreements, staff handbooks, and providing guidance on outsourcing contracts and restrictive covenants.

With the clientele being widely diverse, ranging from small start-ups to large national corporations, such as household named retailers, public funded companies and many more domestic and internationally organisations. Alongside this, you’ll have the chance to build and develop your own profile, with a strong emphasis on business development that will contribute to both your success and the team’s growth. You’ll also play a key role in supporting junior fee earners, providing supervision and guidance to help them thrive.
