This is a chance to join a highly regarded national real estate platform at a key point in its Bristol growth, working alongside senior lawyers who are actively building and shaping the local commercial property practice. The role suits a commercial property solicitor who wants depth of work, visibility and progression, without losing the supportive culture and balance that often disappears in larger teams.
You will advise on a broad mix of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work, development projects, investment portfolios and secured lending. The work is genuinely varied and often strategic, supporting corporate transactions, regeneration schemes and long-term asset management for institutional, public sector and private clients. You will have direct exposure to clients early, working closely with experienced partners and legal directors both in Bristol and across the wider national real estate team.
You will be part of one of the largest and most established real estate groups outside London, with the scale to handle complex, high-value transactions and the infrastructure to support you properly. The Bristol team is led by recognised specialists, with further senior hires strengthening the platform and creating clear opportunities for development as the office continues to grow. The wider real estate group is deeply integrated, working closely with planning, corporate, banking and disputes colleagues on joined-up, full-life-cycle projects.
This role offers more than steady fee-earning, with scope to build your own profile, get involved in business development and contribute to the continued expansion of the Bristol practice. Progression is supported by strong mentoring and national collaboration, making this an attractive option for solicitors who want to move forward without being lost in the crowd.
You will work on high-quality, often headline-driven commercial property matters, while enjoying the lifestyle and cost-of-living advantages of a Bristol base. The culture is collegiate and people-focused, with an emphasis on wellbeing, inclusion and long-term careers rather than short-term hours. If you are looking for City-level quality work with regional balance and real momentum, this role offers a compelling platform.
