Are you a Banking and Finance Solicitor with 5+ years PQE looking to join a heavy hitting international firm based in central Birmingham? This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected Top 50 international law firm known for its strong sector focus, high quality work and genuinely balanced culture.
The Firm has grown into a well established international practice with offices across the UK, the Middle East and Asia. It is widely recognised for its market leading work across real estate, disputes, education, energy, healthcare, leisure, finance and large scale projects. The firm has particular strength in its real estate led transactional work and related finance offering, with its core practices consistently ranked in the Legal 500.
The Role involves joining a Legal 500 ranked Banking and Finance team, working closely with a highly regarded and well established partner in the Birmingham market. The team advises on a broad range of banking and finance matters including corporate lending, real estate finance, syndicated and bilateral facilities, hedging arrangements and wider structured finance work. Given the firm’s strong real estate client base, the Birmingham team has a particular focus on real estate related finance transactions. Prior experience in this area would be beneficial but is not essential.
About You: You will be a qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE in banking and finance. You will have strong technical ability and confidence managing a varied caseload. You will be commercially minded with an interest in client development. You will be collaborative and enjoy working as part of a growing team.
