This is an opportunity to join a highly-regarded Private Client team within a respected Scottish firm, known for its supportive culture and focus on professional development. The firm is seeking an ambitious Solicitor (NQ-4 PQE) to manage a varied and interesting caseload, advising high-net-worth individuals and families on technical and strategic matters. You will gain exposure in complex estate planning, trusts, wills, powers of attorney, guardianship applications, and tax strategies. This role offers early responsibility, visibility within the team, and scope to contribute to business development initiatives, including building long-term client relationships and supporting the growth of the firm's Private Client offering.
The Work
- Manage a varied caseload of Private Client matters with autonomy
- Advise on Wills, trusts, estate planning, asset protection, tax strategies, and powers of attorney
- Handle both contentious and non-contentious executry matters
- Support and contribute to business development, networking, and client relationship management
- Assist in mentoring and supporting junior colleagues where appropriate
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical guidance across the team
Your Experience
- NQ - 4 PQE in the Private Client space
- Strong technical knowledge of estate planning, trusts, tax, and high-net-worth client matters
- Experience managing client relationships with sensitivity and professionalism
- Ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently and with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach
- Ambitious, proactive, and eager to grow within a supportive team environment
