This is a standout role for a Pensions Associate (4-8 PQE) ready to take on greater leadership, client-facing and strategic responsibilities. The team is renowned for its technical excellence, forward-thinking approach and collaborative culture. You'll work alongside leading Pensions Lawyers, contributing to complex advisory work and helping shape the practice's direction.
As a Senior member of the team, you'll mentor and support junior colleagues, developing their technical and client skills through active supervision. You'll be a trusted advisor, contributing to the team's growth and cohesion. In addition to high-profile, challenging work, you'll play an active role in business development, where you will support pitches, identify opportunities, and deepen client relationships. The team actively encourages building your personal profile in the Pensions market.
With offices across the UK and internationally, the firm offers exposure to a broad range of Pensions matters, acting for major corporates, trustees, insurers and public bodies. You'll lead on technically complex and strategically important cases, shaping client outcomes and driving change. The Work
- Manage a varied and complex caseload with minimal supervision.
- Lead client advice on scheme governance, funding, bulk annuities and regulatory issues.
- Mentor and support Junior Lawyers to develop their technical and client skills.
- Drive business development initiatives and contribute to the team's growth strategy.
- Collaborate with partners and other departments on cross-practice matters.
- Represent clients in negotiations and key stakeholder meetings.
