The Role

This is a top-priority role for the firm, and they are looking for a mid to senior-level corporate commercial solicitor (3-8 PQE) to join them in London. You will be handling a broad range of high-value matters, including:

• Cross-border M&A transactions and corporate reorganisations
• Private equity and investment deals
• Commercial contracts, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships
• Regulatory matters, including FCA compliance and banking issues

Who You’ll Be Working With

You will be working alongside two highly experienced and commercially focused partners who bring a wealth of expertise to the table:

• An internationally experienced corporate partner with a background in top-tier US and European firms, advising on multi-jurisdictional M&A, private equity, and investment transactions. This partner has a strong understanding of key financial and regulatory issues, having acted as Head of Legal for a high-profile international acquisition.
• A commercially minded, client-focused corporate and commercial partner known for cutting through legal jargon and getting deals done efficiently. With significant experience in the media and entertainment industries, as well as a track record of advising businesses from start-ups to multinational corporations, this partner brings a pragmatic and results-driven approach to transactions.

Requirements:

• 3-8 years PQE in corporate commercial law
• Strong experience in handling M&A, corporate reorganisations, and commercial contracts
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• A commercially aware, proactive approach to client work
• The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, high-performing team
