A highly regarded London law firm is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property / Trade Marks Associate (4-7 years PQE) to join its established Intellectual Property team. The Role
The successful candidate will handle a varied and complex caseload, including:
- Advising on trade mark and design availability, registration, and portfolio management
- Developing trade mark enforcement strategies and handling disputes
- Managing UK and international trade mark filings
- Drafting and negotiating trade mark-related agreements
- Advising on brand protection, licensing, and commercialisation
- Representing clients in trade mark proceedings where necessary
- Supporting business development initiatives and mentoring junior team members
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Intellectual Property Solicitor (England & Wales) and/or UK Trade Mark Attorney
- 4-7 years’ PQE in IP / trade mark law, ideally within a leading London practice
- Strong technical expertise and commercial acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage a busy and varied workload with a high level of accuracy
- A proactive, client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
