The Role
The firm are looking for a commercial and residential property associate with 2-4 years PQE to join the team in the London office. You’ll both be working closely with partners on complex matters as well as handling your own cases from beginning to end. Partners in the team are known for actively involving associates in strategy discussions, client meetings, and negotiations, not just execution. This ensures your development is maximised and you’re always encouraged to learn and be responsible for more. You’ll manage a diverse case load, including:
- Sales & Purchases (residential and commercial)
- Commercial Leases
- Refinancing
- Licenses to Assign
- Landlord & Tenant matters
- Investment property transactions
- High-net-worth residential property work
This role is designed for an associate who wants to move beyond being a 'fee-earner' and become a trusted adviser. With many home grown partners who can boast over 15 years tenure with the firm, they are known to invest heavily into the development of the associates. You’ll receive hands-on training to develop your commercial awareness and client care, alongside learning the skills needed to become an effective business developer - a key differentiator for long-term progression in the London market. Over time, you’ll be developed into a Senior Associate with genuine client relationships, increasing autonomy, and exposure to the commercial realities of property work, including client strategy, deal structuring and relationship management.
Requirements
