The Role
- Finance & Subscriptions
- Review and approve payments in Business and Commercial Banking;
- Draft monthly financial reports in collaboration with the Accountant;
- Act as the management point of contact for the SRA audit and the production of annual statutory accounts;
- Arrange insurance renewals (PII, Cyber, etc.);
- Manage annual renewal of SRA and CQS registrations.
- Human Resources (HR)
- Manage recruitment processes from requirement specification to signed employment contracts;
- Manage BrightHR system, including updates and incident management;
- Coordinate and approve staff leave and time off;
- Serve as the company contact for payroll, confirming monthly payroll changes;
- Maintain staff handbook and HR policies;
- Act as the company health & safety officer.
- Information Technology (IT)
- Serve as the company contact for IT support, including ordering and invoicing;
- Arrange IT equipment provision and maintain IT Asset register;
- Manage LEAP practice management system, including licensing and library maintenance;
- Act as IT Security Officer (ITSO).
- COFA/Compliance
- Must be approved by the SRA for the COFA role;
- Ensure company policies meet SRA and government standards;
- Review and sign off client account reconciliation statements;
- Maintain and review breach logs and compliance records;
- Assist staff with compliance queries and complex cases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience;
- Dynamic, personable, and strong communicator;
- Experience managing a team or department;
- Experience in training or mentoring juniors is advantageous.
