Are you an experienced legal professional with a passion for technology, intellectual property, and e-commerce? Our client is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to join their Digital Technology Division.
This role offers the opportunity to provide commercially focused legal guidance and support within a dynamic, global organisation that is at the forefront of logistics and trade.
The Role
You will be a trusted advisor to the Digital Technology team, delivering effective, reliable, and user-friendly legal support in a variety of areas. Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of legal documents, including IT vendor contracts, e-commerce agreements, NDAs, and MOUs.

Offering clear, commercially focused recommendations on contract issues and escalating non-standard aspects as necessary.

Acting as a liaison between commercial colleagues and senior legal leadership, including the Group Director – Legal and SVP Digital Technology.

Supporting technology initiatives such as partnerships with government authorities, market expansions, and new product development.

Ensuring legal and compliance standards are met, while providing regular updates to key stakeholders.

Law degree from an accredited university and qualification to practice law from a recognised legal regulatory body.

Minimum 5PQE in an international law firm or multinational company, preferably in the Middle East.

Strong knowledge of IT, intellectual property, data, e-commerce, and commercial contracts.

Excellent analytical, organisational, negotiation, and communication abilities. Proficiency in English is essential, with knowledge of UAE law and international legal practices preferred.
