The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

Salary/Rate: Annual Salary

Role Conditions:

  • Working Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 16:00 & Friday, 07:30 – 12:30
  • Overtime paid at 1.5 times hourly rate
  • 29 days holiday including bank holidays

About the Role:

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Workshop Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved maintenance data and to the order requirements
  • Carry out maintenance tasks including, window polishing, grinding/fettling, paint stripping, shot peening, removal and/or installation of bearing cups
  • Comply with all safety requirements and ensure the correct use of PPE
  • Driving company van
  • Receipt inspections of customer jobs
  • Assisting dispatch, wrapping and packaging of customer jobs

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience within the aerospace industry
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering data and drawings
  • Ability to manage own time to work efficiently and to deadlines
  • Right to work in the UK
