JMC Aviation are working with an FBO company based in Stansted, looking to recruit a new Senior Aircraft Mechanic (Nights) to join their team. This client is well known for outstanding levels of service in their FBO facility. As a family run business with multiple decades of experience, they strive for excellence throughout their skilled workforce as they deal with in-house engineering and support services on business jets. This is a Permanent Position based in Stansted. 5/5/4/4 night shift pattern, 7pm – 7am. They are also required to deputise for the Licensed Engineer, taking control of the zone and liaising with the Hangar Management. Other duties involve: * Execute maintenance tasks as directed by the Licensed Engineer, ensuring all relevant paperwork is accurately completed. * Ensure all activities adhere to relevant company and Health and Safety procedures. * Ensure that all contract staff are properly directed, have comprehensive work instructions, and are adequately briefed on each activity. Ensure they understand and work to the quality system as defined in the company MOE. * Organise and control labour within the area of responsibility in conjunction with the Licensed Engineer. * Raise work cards and requisitions as directed by the Licensed Engineer. * Carry out and supervise aircraft towing manoeuvres using the company tug equipment. Communicate the progress of inputs/projects daily through written reports and meetings.
