We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Asset Acquisition & Remarketing Specialist to lead the strategic purchase of narrow-body aircraft with the objective of maximizing value through the resale of aftermarket parts and used serviceable material (USM). The ideal candidate will possess deep market insight into end-of-life aircraft valuation and the global trading environment for Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 family components. This role is not engine-related. The remit covers end-of-life aircraft disassembly, part-out, and recycling of structures, systems, and rotable components, supporting airlines, lessors, and asset owners in maximising residual value while meeting regulatory and sustainability requirements.

You’ll lead complex commercial discussions, shape end-of-life strategies, and convert technical capability into compelling commercial solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Originate and close new business opportunities related to aircraft disassembly, part-out, and airframe/component sales, primarily for Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 family platforms.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical, commercial, and risk assessments to determine aircraft end-of-life value.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with airlines, lessors, OEMs, part brokers, MROs, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Oversee the due diligence process, including warranty review, maintenance status, records verification, and physical inspections.
  • Establish aircraft valuation models and forecast residual parts value based on market demand, serviceability, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize teardown planning, logistics, and part distribution strategies.
  • Monitor global aftermarket pricing trends and provide competitive insight on USM trading activity.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant aviation regulations, export controls, and industry best practices.

Client Engagement & Advisory:

  • Act as a trusted commercial advisor on aircraft end-of-life planning, focusing on airframe condition, component values, and teardown timing.
  • Advise customers on component harvesting, recertification pathways, and resale strategies (excluding engines).
  • Build long-term relationships with senior commercial, technical, and asset management stakeholders.
  • Represent the business at industry events and customer meetings across the UK and EMEA.

Market Intelligence & Strategy:

  • Monitor market dynamics including aircraft retirements, lease returns, component demand, and regulatory developments.
  • Contribute insights into fleet types, airframe configurations, and component value trends.
  • Support the development of commercial strategy for aircraft disassembly and component services.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in either aircraft asset acquisition, or USM Market. Ideally with exposure to end of life airframe remarketing, or related commercial aviation sectors.
  • Demonstrable expertise in end-of-life aircraft evaluation and the narrow-body aftermarket.
  • Strong understanding of Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 family systems, components, and parts demand dynamics.
  • Proven experience in business development or commercial roles within aviation, aerospace, aircraft teardown, MRO, or asset management.
  • Demonstrated exposure to airframe and aircraft component markets (structures, avionics, landing gear, interiors, APUs, systems).
  • Experience working with airlines, lessors, or asset owners.
  • Experience selling non-engine aircraft parts or services is strongly preferred.

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Confident engaging with technical, operational, and executive audiences.
  • Ability to translate airframe and component capability into commercial value propositions.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently.

Education & Other Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
