JMC Aviation area working with a Maintenance Repair Organisation based in Chester who are looking to recruit a new Aircraft Maintenance Planner to carry out maintenance and operational planning with regard to the services provided by Aerocare Aviation.

The responsibilities of the Aircraft Maintenance Planner will involve:
- Carrying out work to meet the requirements of internal company and customer established procedures IAW with regulatory requirements, to support departmental objectives.
- Acting as the point of contact for all Maintenance Planning, Technical Support and Customer Functions i.e. CAMO / Part M. OEM, DOA etc.
- Acting as an interface between the Customer Service and Operational Departments.
- Providing Planning and Technical Support at pre-inputs, during and after maintenance work has been completed.
- Liaising with customers as well as internal departments.
- Chairing input related to meetings, including pre-input, daily stand-ups, progress reports and post inspection review meetings.
- Determining input downtimes in conjunction with Operations and Sales Departments.
- Supporting the Sales department and technical estimators as required.
- Uploading customer tasks to work packs.
- Creating aircraft input project plans.
- Providing detailed reviews of work content including the identification of Complex Tasks and safety Critical Tasks, and the production of work pack summaries.
- Identifying work requiring the services of outside agencies or sub-contractors.
- Providing oversight and management of regulatory maintenance data.
- Any other reasonable requests needed to support the Business.
In order to be successful in this role, the Aircraft Maintenance Planner will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Experience in using aircraft technical and internal documentation i.e. MOE/AMM/SRM/NTM/Repair Schemes/Part 21J modifications etc.
- Strong understanding of Part 145 regulation, including but not limited to UKCAA, EASA, FAA etc.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point and word to enable the production of project plans, databases and reports.
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across different levels of the Business.
- Pro-active approach demonstrating commercial awareness.
- Ability to work individually or as a team to achieve Business goals and objectives.
- Previous experience working within aircraft maintenance background
