JMC are working exclusively with a leading Aviation Organisation based within an hour of London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join an established, well-renowned and progressive operation where your expertise will be integral to their continued success.

This is a permanent position, working Monday - Friday, daytime hours with occasional travel to other locations in their network.

Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day activities of the Part-145 maintenance operations. Our client takes great pride in providing a best-in-class service and, as such, there is an expectation that the Maintenance Manager and their team are agile and efficient.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of maintenance facilities as well as meeting all regulatory needs and reporting any deficiencies.

  • To lead and control the organisation’s Part 145 maintenance function.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are planned, resourced, performed, supervised, certified and compliant with the applicable UK regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the safe, secure, efficient and airworthy operation of the fleet.
  • Effective management of personnel, facilities, contracted maintenance, maintenance standards, and maintenance-related safety and compliance obligations.

A proven track record in aviation maintenance is required, along with:

  • The ability to efficiently lead an agile environment.
  • Completion of applicable initial and recurrent training required for Part-145 personnel.
  • Full UK Driving license.
  • Experience in maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Experience sufficient to support acceptance by the CAA as a nominated person for Part-145 maintenance.
  • Extensive experience as a maintenance manager.
