About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager on a full time basis. This is offering a hybrid working option with 3 days in the office and 2 at home.

As Procurement Manager for Engineering & Maintenance, you’ll help shape the supply chain behind a 300‑aircraft fleet and play a key part in keeping millions of passengers moving.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Procurement Manager in delivering the category plan through spend analysis, market insight and supplier/stakeholder engagement
- Run end‑to‑end tender processes, managing selected tenders and ensuring strong commercial outcomes
- Identify opportunities to drive value and cost savings across the supply chain
- Maintain accurate contract and supplier records, ensuring timely renewals and full contractual coverage
- Manage key supplier relationships to secure best value and strong performance
- Promote effective SRM and support the business in resolving supplier issues
- Contribute to category strategy by staying informed on industry developments
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support procurement decisions
- Lead sourcing projects, tenders and contract activities in Workday/Scout
- Prepare tender evaluation models and negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
- Draft and finalise contracts with Legal, ensuring compliance with governance requirements
- Ensure all sourcing documentation is accurate, complete and stored correctly
- Produce analysis and reports that demonstrate procurement value and support supplier management
- Deputise for the Lead Procurement Manager and support development of Procurement Executives
Candidate Requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience
- A formal CIPS qualification would be an advantage
- Strong procurement experience within Aviation, Aerospace or Engineering sectors
- Strong negotiator and influencer
- Keen Relationship Management: Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a variety of levels
- Proven ability to understand complex specifications and contract scopes
- Ability to analyse large amounts of detailed financial information consistently and to a high level of accuracy
- The ability to influence and challenge at a senior management level
- Ability to complete end to end robust competitive sourcing process including tendering
