About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, JMC Aviation is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support ongoing operations in Paisley, Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, fast-paced organisation with a strong focus on compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure effective control measures are implemented.
- Manage COSHH documentation and ensure chemical safety compliance.
- Lead or support incident investigations, including root cause analysis.
- Provide advice and guidance on health and safety legislation and company policies.
- Support the development and implementation of safety improvement initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience in Health & Safety roles within large, complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment, COSHH, and incident investigation procedures.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent qualification).
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
- Experience within the aviation, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 management systems.
- Ability to influence and promote a strong safety culture across teams.
