AOG Engineer at Stansted Airport, Permanent, 7 on 7 off Shift - All Days. UK CAA or EASA Sponsorship Offered.

Job Purpose: The day-to-day management of aircraft line and AOG maintenance inputs and projects. To ensure the certification of all maintenance inputs are in accordance with the current certification privileges as detailed in the organisations MOE.

Accountability: Ensure that all maintenance is carried out to the highest standard and all regulatory and company standards are met. Maintain the utmost safety and quality standards in performance of the certification of all line and AOG maintenance support events in accordance with the current company approvals and licensed certification privileges. Acts as the face of the company in respect to the aircraft owner and/or representative, and endeavour to positively satisfy the customer to the best of his/her and/or ITJC’s support capabilities.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

  • To remain fully prepared and able to travel at short notice, to ensure The Jet Centre delivers the very highest level of response on a consistent basis, to its demanding customer base.
  • Whilst on deployment, maintain the very highest standards of communication to both the customer and ITJC.
  • Ensure that all work undertaken, as instructed, remains within the capabilities of Inflite MOE and subject aircraft's associated state of registry.
  • Always display themselves in company uniform and maintain the very highest standards of appearance.
  • Solely responsible for the “perceived” ownership, equipping, stock control and replenishment of the AOG Response vehicle.
  • Solely responsible for the company vehicle appearance to ensure it always depicts the very highest level of customer perception.
  • When not deployed on any AOG activity, form part of maintenance staff and revert to being responsible to The Head of Maintenance, whilst remaining in an ever ready and standby state.
  • Compliance with company Procedures and in particular - Health, Quality and Safety policies.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company Safety system in respect of actively advocating, promoting & implementing safety policy.

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized and able to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to provide effective management of resources.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Advanced level of written and oral communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Recognised Apprenticeship.
  • To remain current on all required and necessary types of aircraft.
  • Full unrestricted ‘B1’ or ’B2’ license (B2 engineers are required to have electrical privileges).
  • Engine ground run approval.
