An exciting new opportunity to help us deliver in-house training in hands-on, practical sheet metal work. Train and mentor new starters and apprentices as part of our in-house training and apprenticeship programme.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver exciting, hands-on practical sheet metal training to apprentices and new starters
- Teach damage assessment, so trainees can judge the extent of damage and choose the right repair
- Demonstrate safe working practices, correct technique and quality standards
- Assess progress, give feedback and keep training records
- Work with the workshop team so that training reflects real workshop tasks
Candidate Requirements
- Substantial aircraft sheet metal experience is essential
- A patient, clear communicator who enjoys developing others
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Flexibility is key: you will be flexible across the business and work across our different business units as needed
- Right to work in the UK
