Responsibilities

  • Plan, model, simulate, design, install, maintain and manage enterprise network systems.
  • Provide technical and strategic guidance for modernization and optimization of complex network environments.
  • Perform network administration tasks including configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution.
  • Install, configure and maintain network software applications and hardware components.
  • Utilize advanced software and hardware tools to identify, diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
  • Ensure network security compliance and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions to technical challenges.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical discipline.
  • Equivalent technical training certificate from an accredited institution will be considered.

Experience

  • Network Engineer I: Minimum of 3 years of progressively complex experience in network engineering and administration.
  • Network Engineer II: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing or leading large-scale network engineering and IT modernization efforts, including at least 2 years of specialized experience related to network design, planning or optimization.

Certifications

  • Required:
  • Network Engineer I: CompTIA Network
  • Network Engineer II: CompTIA Network and CompTIA Security

Clearance

Active Secret clearance required.
