The primary focus of all our Consultants are to deliver high calibre commercial & technical solutions for our clients across our 5 core solutions: Due Diligence, Core Reporting, Data & AI Advisory, Value Creation, and Prep for Exit.

As a Senior Consultant at JMAN, you will lead complex client workstreams and projects end‑to‑end, acting as a trusted partner to senior client stakeholders.

You will take accountability for problem framing, delivery quality, and commercial impact, while guiding teams to deliver rigorous analysis and actionable recommendations.

From the outset, you will play a critical role in shaping engagements, influencing strategic decisions, and contributing to the growth of key client accounts.

You will also be a visible leader within the firm, supporting the development of junior consultants and contributing to firm building initiatives across the US business.

This role is suited to individuals who combine strong consulting fundamentals with leadership capability, commercial judgment, and a desire to take on greater responsibility and influence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver complex client projects or multiple workstreams end-to-end, across both structured and exploratory engagements
  • Take accountability for project delivery, including problem definition, analytical approach, quality of outputs, and timelines
  • Translate complex analysis into clear, commercially grounded recommendations that drive measurable client outcomes
  • Own senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to decisionmakers and proactively managing stakeholders
  • Structure ambiguous, high impact problems and guide teams using hypothesis‑led, first‑principles thinking
  • Oversee and coordinate global delivery teams, ensuring consistent quality, alignment, and pace across regions
  • Lead the development of high‑quality materials and presentations that influence senior executives and investment stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to extend engagements or expand client accounts, supporting commercial growth
  • Play a key role in firm building initiatives, helping shape how JMAN operates and scales
  • Coach, mentor, and develop junior team members through active leadership and feedback
  • Take ownership of your professional development while contributing to the development of others
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in consulting or professional services, with demonstrated progression
  • Proven experience leading projects or multiple workstreams with accountability for outcomes
  • Strong track record of high performance, leadership, and client impact
  • Advanced analytical and structured problem solving skills
  • Confidence working with data and translating analysis into strategic, commercial insight
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to link recommendations to business value
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders
  • Ability to operate effectively in lean, high‑performance teams, taking ownership and initiative
  • Experience with, or strong interest in developing capabilities in: Excel and Power Point, Tableau or Power BI, SQL, Python, or Alteryx
  • Beneficial if you have
  • A grounding in data science or AI.
  • Experience working in a global delivery model.
  • Foreign language skills (German, French or Spanish in particular)
