JM Workforce Services are currently working with a well-respected and emerging Children\'s Social Care provider based in Birmingham to recruit a Children\'s Senior Support Worker for a Children\'s home provider. Please be aware you must have the Right to Work in the UK. Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Children\'s Senior Support Worker to lead shifts and ensure the highest standards of care for children in a residential setting. The role involves planning and managing shifts, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, and providing leadership and support to the care team. Main Duties and Responsibilities: * Plan, manage, and lead shifts, ensuring children are kept safe and engaged. * Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children in our care at all times. * Be flexible, consistent, reflective, and creative in your engagement with the young people. * Sleep overnight at the home as required. * Work flexibly, including office hours, early mornings, late nights, regular weekends, and bank holidays. * Manage all risks in line with company policies and procedures. * Communicate effectively with the team regarding daily plans. * Provide reports and documentation reflecting the progress of the young people using paperless systems. * Review the young people\'s care plans and other associated documentation. * Attend staff meetings and proactively develop and improve the service model. * Act as an advocate for the young people while using a positive parenting model. Job Requirements: * Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare (preferred) * Full UK Driving License * Clean DBS * Commitment to ongoing professional development to support the needs of our young people. * Clear passion and desire to support children and young people. Compensation and Benefits: * Competitive salary - £29,000 - £31,000 plus sleep-in allowance * Generous remuneration for sleep-in shifts This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified candidate to join our clients team in one of their children\'s residential homes.
