About the Role
- Lead shifts and provide hands-on care, guidance, and support to children and young people.
- Act as a positive role model, inspiring both the children and your team.
- Deliver individual care plans, ensuring each child’s needs are understood and met.
- Keep accurate records, including daily logs, incident reports, and safeguarding documentation.
- Support and mentor the care team, helping them develop their skills.
- Contribute to creating a nurturing, high-quality home environment in line with Ofsted standards.
About You
- Experience in children’s residential care, including managing challenging behaviours.
- Leadership experience or the ability to supervise and guide a team (desirable).
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- A Full UK Driving Licence.
- Availability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and regular sleep-ins.
