Role overview
We are seeking a motivated, commercially aware MRICS Valuation Surveyor to join our expanding valuation team. This role involves undertaking a broad range of valuation instructions, primarily across London and the South East, and offers the opportunity to work closely with directors while contributing to the growth and development of the department. The successful candidate will be given autonomy, responsibility and a clear opportunity to progress within a supportive, entrepreneurial environment.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake Red Book-compliant valuation work across residential and commercial assets
- Carry out inspections throughout London and surrounding areas
- Prepare high-quality, detailed valuation reports for a range of purposes (lending, investment, asset management, etc.)
- Analyse market trends and comparable evidence to support valuations
- Manage client relationships including lenders, investors, and private clients
- Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a growing team
- Support the ongoing development of internal processes and standards
Candidate requirements
Essential:
- MRICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer (preferable)
- Proven experience in valuation within the UK property market
- Strong knowledge of the London property market
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Excellent report writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
Desirable:
- Experience across multiple asset classes (residential, commercial, mixed-use)
- Existing professional network or client base
- Interest in contributing to a growing business and team development
