About the Role
Our client is a well-established and growing engineering business specialising in commercial vehicle maintenance, plant equipment and specialist vehicle support across South Wales. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join their busy workshop team based in Cwmbran. Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs and commercial vehicles
- Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment
- Completing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs
- Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections and ensuring compliance standards are met
- Working on a variety of specialist commercial vehicles and equipment
- Completing job cards and service documentation accurately
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and workmanship
- Supporting workshop efficiency and productivity
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in HGV, Heavy Vehicle or Commercial Vehicle Maintenance
- Previous experience working on HGVs, commercial vehicles
