Our client is seeking a Paint Prepper to support the preparation of vehicles for high-quality paint refinishing. You will be responsible for preparing panels and vehicle surfaces to a professional standard, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely to meet company and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle panels for paint, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming
- Identify and rectify surface imperfections prior to painting
- Ensure vehicles are cleaned and correctly masked before entering the spray booth
- Work closely with paint technicians to maintain workflow and quality standards
- Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Paint Prepper within an accident repair or fleet environment
- Good knowledge of preparation techniques and materials
- Ability to work to deadlines with strong attention to detail
- Team player with a positive and reliable attitude
