£12.71-£14.09 per hour Job Description: About the role We are currently recruiting for Machine Packing Operatives to join a busy plastic injection moulding manufacturing environment in Blackwood. The role would suit someone who is hands-on, reliable and comfortable working within a fast-paced production environment. Key responsibilities Starting and stopping machinery safely and efficiently Monitoring machinery throughout the production process Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards Trimming excess plastic from finished products Packing finished products ready for dispatch Palletising products and preparing them for storage or transportation Identifying and reporting any machinery faults or quality issues Maintaining a clean and organised working area Following all health and safety procedures Working as part of a team to meet production requirements Working pattern and benefits 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts 6:00am – 6:00pm days 6:00pm – 6:00am nights £12.71 – £14.09 per hour £55.50 weekly attendance bonus Paid breaks Overtime opportunities available Overtime paid at time and a quarter and time and a half About you The ideal candidate will be: Reliable and punctual Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, including nights Happy working in a manufacturing environment Able to follow instructions and production procedures Quality-conscious with good attention to detail Comfortable working on their feet and carrying out practical tasks A good team player with a positive attitude Willing to learn and develop within the role
