Description: JM Selection is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer, for experienced CNC Machinists to join their growing production team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technology, producing high-quality aerospace components within a modern and highly regulated environment.
Operate, set and programme CNC machinery to manufacture aerospace components.
Machine composite and metallic materials to precise engineering specifications.
Load and set fixtures, tooling and workpieces safely and accurately.
Carry out quality inspections using measuring equipment and probing systems.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
Conduct routine machine checks and ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
Complete all production documentation accurately and maintain full traceability.
Work to strict quality, safety and production standards.
Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Requirements Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment.
Experience machining composite and/or metallic materials.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience setting tooling and fixtures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
Willingness to work permanent night shifts.
Desirable Experience Experience with 5-axis CNC machinery.
Knowledge of Siemens 840D control systems.
Experience using probing and tool-setting equipment.
Aerospace, engineering or advanced manufacturing experience.
Apprenticeship served within an engineering discipline.

Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Week 2 - Wednesday and Thursday Option 2 Monday - Wednesday, 8pm-6am Thursday - 7pm - 4:30am.
