Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Panel Technician to join our busy bodyshop team. You will be responsible for repairing and replacing damaged vehicle body panels to manufacturer standards, ensuring fleet vehicles are returned to service safely, efficiently, and to a high cosmetic finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair damaged vehicle panels using approved methods
- Remove and replace body panels, trims, and components
- Carry out structural and non-structural panel repairs
- Realign chassis and bodywork using specialist equipment
- Prepare vehicles for the paint process
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Work efficiently to meet agreed repair times and targets
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Panel Technician / Panel Beater
- Experience working within a bodyshop or accident repair centre
- Knowledge of modern repair techniques and materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Time management and ability to work to deadlines
- ATA accreditation (desirable but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
