The successful candidate will have a background in precision CNC machining, grinding or lapping , ideally working with metals, carbide or other hard materials. Technical ceramics experience is not required. Full specialist training will be provided by an experienced ceramics machining specialist. This is an opportunity to develop specialist expertise in precision machining and lapping of technical ceramics for the semiconductor industry. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC milling machinery, including Hurco controls Manufacture tight-tolerance components from engineering drawings and process specifications Carry out precision grinding and lapping to achieve specified surface finish, flatness and parallelism Develop knowledge and practical capability in machining technical ceramics and other hard/brittle materials Select appropriate tooling, abrasives, fixtures and machining parameters Interpret engineering drawings, GD
