JM Selection is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer, for experienced CNC Machinists to join their growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technology, producing high-quality aerospace components within a modern and highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, set and programme CNC machinery to manufacture aerospace components.
- Machine composite and metallic materials to precise engineering specifications.
- Load and set fixtures, tooling and workpieces safely and accurately.
- Carry out quality inspections using measuring equipment and probing systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
- Conduct routine machine checks and ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
- Complete all production documentation accurately and maintain full traceability.
- Work to strict quality, safety and production standards.
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience machining composite and/or metallic materials.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience setting tooling and fixtures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Willingness to work permanent night shifts.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with 5-axis CNC machinery.
- Knowledge of Siemens 840D control systems.
- Experience using probing and tool-setting equipment.
- Aerospace, engineering or advanced manufacturing experience.
- Apprenticeship served within an engineering discipline.

Options:
- Option 1: All hours 6am-6pm - Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday; Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday.
- Option 2: Monday - Wednesday, 8pm-6am; Thursday - 7pm - 4:30am.
