IT organisation is hiring for an experienced Identity and Access Management (IDAM) Architect to be based in Basingstoke. This role requires full-time onsite work and requires DV Clearance. Salary ranges between £70K - £80K plus 10% bonus and car allowance.

As an Architect, you will play a key role in designing and delivering cutting-edge Identity and Access Management solutions. Working closely with cross-functional delivery teams, you will lead the architecture of secure, scalable systems that meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Reporting to the Solution Owner, you will own the full life cycle of your work packages - from High-Level and Low-Level Design (HLD/LLD) through to ongoing documentation, governance, and change management.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and maintain secure, scalable IDAM solutions.
  • Produce, review, and maintain HLDs/LLDs and design documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards and review processes.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to support agile, efficient solution development.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in IDAM technologies and integration approaches.
  • Lead change delivery to support evolving user and business needs.

Required Skills:

  • Strong, proven experience in Identity and Access Management architecture.
  • Expertise in identity governance, including RBAC and access provisioning.
  • Deep knowledge of IDAM standards and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Windows Enterprise technologies and PowerShell Scripting.
  • Ability to design and deliver solutions within an Agile delivery framework.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with automated testing solutions (desirable).
