In the Manufacturing team at JLR’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC), you’ll help power iconic electric cars. You will be working alongside incredible technicians and leaders to drive our commitment to shape a future we truly believe in, together. Use your expertise, cutting‑edge technology, and problem‑solving skills to ensure efficient, sustainable and high‑quality production.

Responsibilities

  • Own shift performance reporting, monitor live operational delivery, and take decisive action to protect SQDCPE targets while ensuring safe, on‑time, right‑first‑time production.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Process and Team Leaders, providing visible shop‑floor leadership to support launch, run at rate, and delivery of safety, quality and productivity objectives.
  • Drive robust problem solving, cost control and quality improvement, champion continuous improvement and constraint management, and ensure full compliance with GMS, QOS and Safety Operating Systems across all production phases.
  • Implement company policies relating to workforce, pay and benefits with consistency, accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in high‑volume or complex manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, safety systems and operational performance management.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and data‑driven decision‑making capability.
  • Experience in manpower planning, team development and shift‑based operations.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. IPS, PDCA, CCAR).
