In the Manufacturing team at JLR’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC), you’ll help power iconic electric cars. You will be working alongside incredible technicians and leaders to drive our commitment to shape a future we truly believe in, together. Use your expertise, cutting-edge technology, and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient, sustainable and high-quality production.
This role sits within the EPMC Maintenance Operations team, delivering frontline engineering support to maximise equipment uptime, ensure safe production, and drive continuous improvement across plant and processes.
What To Expect- You’ll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently, responding to issues quickly and supporting continuous improvement across maintenance operations.
- Provide first-line response to equipment breakdowns, ensuring safe and rapid resolution to minimise downtime.
- Support delivery of safety, quality, delivery, cost, people and environmental (SQDCPE) targets.
- Maintain and improve plant equipment and automation to achieve uptime objectives.
- Collaborate with operational and support teams to optimise maintenance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement, reducing waste and improving efficiency across maintenance operations.
- Experience within manufacturing maintenance operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Ability to analyse performance data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Competent using Microsoft tools (Excel & PowerPoint).
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance environment.
