In the Manufacturing team at JLR’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC), you’ll help power iconic electric cars. You will be working alongside incredible technicians and leaders to drive our commitment to shape a future we truly believe in, together. Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair gauges to ensure efficient operation and compliance with TS16949 standards
- Monitor and audit CMM functions, keeping operations running smoothly
- Collaborate with plant quality and engineering teams to resolve customer complaints and implement improvements
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective repairs to minimise downtime
- Support metrology and calibration activities, ensuring all products meet the highest standards
Qualifications
- Indentured apprenticeship or level 3 NVQ or equivalent
- Problem Solving Techniques - Root cause analysis
- Good Fault-Finding Skills
- Ability to make decisions quickly, sometimes in demanding situations
- Machining / Toolroom OR Metrology Experience
- Experience writing/improving CMM programming for calibration/verification
