As a Power Electronics Test Engineer here, you’ll play a vital part in developing and validating high voltage systems across charging and inverter technologies. You’ll work at the forefront of innovation, enhancing how we test, learn and improve, while growing your own expertise in a fast‑evolving engineering environment.

What To Expect

  • Supporting test planning, KPI reporting and project delivery activities across power electronics programmes
  • Commissioning and debugging test facilities, equipment and systems under test to ensure reliable performance
  • Developing and improving test scenarios from product requirements, contributing to robust validation strategies
  • Creating automation solutions to accelerate test delivery, including controlling hardware and streamlining repetitive tasks
  • Driving continuous improvement of processes, safety and efficiency, alongside clear documentation and knowledge sharing

What You’ll Need

  • Holding a degree in Electrical, Electronic or Automotive Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrating knowledge of electrified vehicle systems such as MHEV, PHEV or BEV architectures
  • Applying experience in test design, hardware or software testing within engineering environments
  • Using instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, power analysers or high voltage test equipment
  • Showing familiarity with tools such as AVL PUMA, dSpace or Python, with a structured approach to data analysis and problem solving
