In the Manufacturing team at JLR’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC), you’ll help power iconic electric cars. You will be working alongside incredible technicians and leaders to drive our commitment to shape a future we truly believe in, together. Use your expertise, cutting-edge technology, and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient, sustainable and high-quality production.
We have an opportunity for the right person to join our electrification maintenance team at the EPMC in Wolverhampton. You will be working alongside 4 other maintenance process leaders and will have a team TL’s and IMT’s reporting directly into you. This role will be aligned to one of the technologies within EDU/BATTERY. We work hard to nurture a culture that is inclusive and welcoming to all. In this role, you will take accountability for leading Electrification Maintenance performance across multiple production lines, developing and engaging your team. Delivering safe, reliable and efficient manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead proactive maintenance strategies (PPM/PM) to maximise uptime and performance.
- Manage people, capability, safety and wellbeing within a safe system of work.
- Own assets, history, systems and budgets using SAP and maintenance tools.
- Drive root cause analysis, continuous improvement and audit readiness (PQ, CQ, External).
- Collaborate with production.
