What to Expect:
We are seeking a Programme Lead to support creative programme delivery activities of a specific nameplate within our multidisciplinary design team as part of a joint venture with our external automotive partner. The role will take responsibility for supporting Creative projects linked to a vehicle line or activity, ensuring the seamless alignment of design disciplines such as Brand Design, Exterior / Interior design, Studio Engineering, Materiality, and UX/UI, supporting the successful delivery of overall alignment of the overarching brand principles. This is a unique opportunity to support the Programme Management team in shaping both the design and operational processes, that will bring a new brand and its products to life.
You will:
- Support successful delivery of the project/programme and associated deliverables of your nameplate on time/within budget for Creative.
- Support development of and maintain a comprehensive credible programme plan for your project/programme nameplate, ensuring every phase—from strategy through execution—is clearly defined and tracked.
- Work with the Programme Manager and JV partner to ensure we have clarity of deliverables leading to each next and future gateway.
- Support alignment multidisciplinary Creative efforts, supporting the successful delivery of brand principles are consistently reflected across all product and brand touchpoints.
- With an Agile mindset, ensure all required activities are consistently scoped, co-ordinated and delivered in line with JLR/JV governance.
What You'll Need:
In addition to your drive for excellence, you’ll bring certain skills, qualifications and experience, including:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of planning, monitoring and delivering projects and programmes within a Creative Studio environment.
- Experience of working in an Automotive Design studio.
- Ability to influence others at all levels, within the Creators Code principles.
- Ability to identify and manage current and future risks on multiple Creative led projects/programmes, being capable of developing contingency plans and successfully engaging a cross functional team to align to these plans.
- Technical awareness of the automotive Vehicle Design process to enable prioritisation of key issues.
